Bio

Summoner main, though I started the game truly after all the summoner changes, so I don't know what it used to be like, and why everyone hates it now xD.

I can also flex to Phys ranged, Dancer for sure, Bard pretty well, and Machinist I have yet to work on. If needed I could flex to Warrior or Gunbreaker, though I haven't progged any savage as tank so it may take me some time to get all the nuances down. Currently I am trying to properly learn and get better with black mage to increase overall dps output. This is primarily do to the harshness of savage dps checks, where even though I have rank 1 parsed as Summoner in a number of fights, it's seen as a burden to play with. Since the revive only starts to shine for prog time, or sloppy reclears when people have the gear to makeup for deaths, I figure it's best if I learn the true highest dps class so I can contribute more.

Hi, I am Mina Ashido from Marilith. I had played before in 2014 but didn't see the value in paying for sub at the time, and started again in 2019 but the friends I started up with quit within a few weeks, so I waited a few more years before finally deciding to just sink my teeth in alone. Starting in May of 2023 I finally chose to do just that, and I my journey began. I had a lot of content to catch up on so it took me a long time to get interested in the true high end current content. My first Savage raid tier was at the tale end of 7.18, I got into it and progged all the fights in a few days time. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and wished I had started up raiding sooner. I progged through M5S on the next raid tier through PF on day 1, it was a good time. M6S took a lot longer, mainly because of the steep learning curve for many people, dps checks were harsh, target priority was all over the place, and tanks were just generally dying. Eventually though with a PF team I cleared it on day 4 or 5. I ran into another problem in M7S, which was that hardly anyone had cleared M6S still in public parties, so I struggled a lot just trying to get into groups to prog. About around day 8 finally got a PF team that could pass the dps check by doing all the mechanics nearly perfectly, as any DD or death would be nearly run ending instantly that early in the tier somehow. At that point I had been away from my FC for too long just progging on aether, and with even less people at that prog point I decided to postpone my m8s prog for a month. After doing a month of reclears and getting most of my BIS gear, I spent about 3 days progging M8S in pf before finally clearing. Though again, most of that time was simply spent in party finder constantly waiting for it to fill up.

As much as I enjoyed the 2 raid tiers I have experienced so far, I really was getting sick of dealing with PF in general. I decided to put a team together from my FC, though being from dynamis, all of them are newer players like me, and hadn't every done savage level content before. We have been getting better slowly over time though. So far we have progged through m5s-m6s as a static, and I would like to complete the tier with them before next tier drops.
