Hey, I'm Chris (Gamerthyrst). I'm an IT analyst, a dad, and the founder of WAD Gaming. I’ve been building and leading online gaming communities since 2012. I'm a massive believer that games are infinitely better when played with good people. I don't care about sweaty parsing or gatekeeping; I care about good vibes, patience, and having a laugh in Discord after a long day at work. Real life and family always come first, but when the PC is on, I'm all about progressing together and helping each other out.

I have over a decade of MMO experience, primarily leading successful raid teams and running a multi-game guild in World of Warcraft. I originally played FFXIV during the early expansions, clearing content alongside my WoW raiding schedule. I've recently returned to Eorzea to fully rebuild our Free Company here. I main Paladin, so I am used to holding the boss, setting the pace, and leading from the front. I know what it takes to organise a group, explain mechanics without losing patience, and keep a team motivated through progression walls.
