Dawn of the Dead is a static that seeks to kill bosses while having fun at the same time. We are currently looking for 1 tank (DRK/GNB/PLD) for savage and ultimates after we've cleared. We've cleared m11s and are just starting to prog m12s.
Raid Times:
- Friday 8:00pm - 10:30pm ET
- Saturday 8:00pm - 10:30pm ET
- We do occasionally stay late during progression or try to pick up either Sunday or Monday night if we're close to a kill (these nights are completely optional and no hard feelings if someone can't stay).

- Knowledge about their class and mechanics
- Serious about raiding but likes to have fun
- Ability to communicate well
- Someone who strives to be the best they can be
- Comes prepared for encounters
- Willing and able to use Discord voice chat during raids
Our recruitment process:
- Application/Initial contact: either you will reach out to us or we will reach out to you
- Interview: We will conduct an initial interview with you over in Discord via a combination of DMs and voice chat
- Trial: If we feel that you will be a good fit for our static, we will then offer you a trial period to evaluate your performance and fit with the rest of the group
- Promotion to Full Raider: Once the trial period is complete, we we make a determination about whether or not to promote you to a full raider and inform you of that decision.

Introduction
Dawn of the Dead was founded on July 18, 2014 by veterans of a Warcraft raiding guild of the same name. We have a focus on end-game raiding with a desire to clear all difficult content on a schedule that respects other interests and responsibilities. Our main goal is to have fun--just like everyone else playing a game. We also have lives outside of games and want to keep it that way, but we also want to achieve things in FFXIV and clear savage/ultimate content on a reasonable timetable.
To balance those competing needs, we started this static on the belief that competent and focused players can achieve significant raid progress on a limited raid schedule that accommodates IRL relationships, activities, and responsibilities IF everyone is committed to showing up prepared and focused. This means finding like-minded players who are driven to complete the most difficult challenges SE gives us and who have the maturity to both want a limited raid schedule and will reliably show up for it.
