Player Profile / Expectations
- Experienced and proficient in your role — not learning the basics here
- Willing to push beyond the minimum; "extra mile" mentality
- Role-flexible: have multiple jobs within your role leveled, unlocked, and ready to swap
- Fully optimised for progression: penta-melded gear, correct food & pots, appropriate iLvl
- Punctual and respectful of others' time
- Comfortable on voice chat and receptive to feedback during wipes
- Open to being streamed — progression streams are planned to become standard
Mindset
- Team success over personal performance — consistency and reliability beat greedy DPS
- Positive attitude through wipes and setbacks
- Community-first right now; the static forms post-Dawntrail, so this phase is about building trust and getting to know each other
- Not a casual commitment — this is explicitly separate from the Club Toebeans FC culture
Raid Experience
- Previous experience of savage raiding.
- No recent logs required, there's plenty of time to improve and log, but please, no new players with less than 30 days subbed.
Introduction
The Road Ahead
We will not be forming an official static until the next expansion (post-Dawntrail). For now, our focus is on gathering like-minded players. We want to spend the remainder of this expansion having fun, getting to know each other through old and current content, and building a solid foundation for a dedicated raid team.
Endgame
For high-end content (Savage, Extremes, and Ultimates), we prioritize team success. Slots are assigned based on:
- Role Proficiency: Being ready to play any job within your chosen role (e.g., swapping between BRD and DNC if the comp needs it).
- Consistency: We value players who perform mechanics reliably over greedy high DPS that leads to wipes.
- Communication and Attitude: Using voice chat, staying positive during wipes, and being open to constructive feedback.
- Punctuality: Respecting the group’s time by showing up on time and ready to pull.
- Synergy & Gear: Using standard party comps, timing cooldowns for the team, and having appropriate iLvl, melds (penta-melded for new tiers), food, and pots.
- Role Flexibility: While rare, if a specific job is currently undertuned or lacks synergy, you may be asked to swap to another job within your role. Please have these leveled and unlocked!
- Logging: We use ACT, FFLogs and Archon for combat analysis and improvement, with Stealth and Competition mode enabled for privacy through progression.
